Located within the Town limits of Stevensville, in Montana's scenic Bitterroot Valley, the Bitterroot River Bed and Breakfast overlooks the River at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. We offer a tranquil country setting. Our hobby farm is home to the friendliest Montana sheep, chickens, ducklings, and more. Our scenic location provides on-property access to the Bitterroot River, combined with the convenience of being located within a small town. It is a short walk from the B&B to main street Stevensville, where you will find art galleries and gift stores, a microbrewery, a museum, a library, antique stores, groceries, restaurants and other unique shopping opportunities. Don't forget to stop at our local drug and variety store which has everything from A to Z and still operates an old-fashioned soda fountain!
Enjoy year round, relaxation on our covered porch and sunroom as you watch the Bitterroot River flow by! Lean back in your adirondack rocking chair, watch the sheep grazing in the pasture, and you can see the top of 9,200 ft. tall St. Mary's Peak! Awaken to a cup of freshly ground, Big Creek Coffee Roasters coffee, roasted right here in the Valley. Your hearty breakfast will be served with a smile. Look forward to a day of skiing, snowshoeing, relaxing with a massage, fly fishing, hiking, bird watching, hunting, cycling, shopping locally and fine dining. We are minutes from the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, and about half-way between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. A perfect place for a quick stop-over or an extended retreat. We welcome you for year round relaxation!
