Whether you choose to fish with a guide like Eddy-O above or fish on your own, the fishing on the Bitterroot River can be amazing in early spring, before the high water of spring runoff. With low clear water and hatches of nemoura and skwala stoneflies, March and April offer the first opportunities for catching hungry trout on the surface with a dry fly. At the Bitterroot River Bed and Breakfast you can access the River from our property! Reservations are easy online!
