The safety and comfort of our guests are our top priorities, at the B&B. Heather had 25 years experience in working in healthcare, prior to operating the B&B. She has a working knowledge of infectious disease control and mitigation measures recommended to slow the spread of disease. Kevin is the team leader for COVID19 procedures and policies for his day job. Together, we have implemented changes to ensure our guests feel confident we are doing our part to stop the spread of COVID19. Please read through the info below and if you have any concerns, please give us a call.
- We are open & following the frequently changing state and federal recommendations for safety and cleaning. Our maximum capacity is 8 guests at the B&B. This always keeps us within the recommended limited gathering of 10 people or less.
- Our cleaning practices exceed the guidelines of our local health department and the CDC. All frequently touched surfaces such as door knobs, handrails, room keys etc are sanitized frequently throughout the day. We have placed throw pillows and extra linens in your closet, wrapped with barriers, to keep sanitized until use. Where applicable, we have placed infection control barriers to cover surfaces which cannot be sanitized, such as TV remotes, etc. Hard surfaces floors are sanitized with a steam mop.
- Weather permitting, rooms are aerated daily with fresh mountain air. Our wrap around porch and outdoor seating make it easy for guests to enjoy Montana's Big Sky fresh air also.
- We have made changes to our dining room to ensure breakfast, check in, and check out will be compliant with the new social distancing recommendations. We have four separate breakfast tables, the ability to stagger breakfast times, or we can provide breakfast to go. We have also upgraded our payment processing system to be fully automatic, requiring no direct handling of credit cards.
- There are no current mask mandates.
- The majority of our supplies (groceries, etc) are delivered by a single driver of a local restaurant supply company. Delivery of supplies limits our own possible exposure to disease spread through shopping in the community.
- Restaurants and pubs are open. If needed, guests are welcome to order dinner to go and eat at any of the tables provided at the B&B.
- Presently our cancellation policies are in effect per original contracts. For those impacted by COVID19, who booked reservations prior to April 1, 2020, we are happy to reschedule your stay, without penalty. Gift certificates will be issued for use at a later date, rather than forfeiture of deposit, if illness or travel restriction prevents you from honoring your reservation. Guests who book reservations after 4/1/2020 are assumed to be fully aware of COVID19 policies and will be held to the cancellation policy as outlined in your reservation contract.
- If you booked through an OTA (booking, expedia, hotels, trivago, etc) your contract is through them and any changes must be handled through them. Cancellation policies remain in full effect. No exceptions will be made for OTA reservations.
