Ooh la la! Romance is in the air, not just at the B&B, but everywhere! What better is there to do on a cold winter's night than to snuggle up by the fireplace with your Sweetie? Here at the B&B, I am getting ready for the lovebirds that are on the way. There are so many things to do: massages to schedule, decadent dark chocolate truffles to order, divinely sensual menus to plan, flowers to order, and champagne to buy... and that is just around here!
There is also a lot going on in the valley this season. There are plays, dances, and dinners all over town! One of the great advantages of our location is that we are nestled amongst the heart of Montana's artistic community. I have been enjoying learning to quilt and learning to knit. The Bitterroot Valley has several quilt shops which offer frequent classes. Denise, the English woman, at Day Dream Fabrics is a FANTASTIC teacher and does divine handwork. If Denise can teach me, she can teach anyone!
With so many sheep raised in this beautiful valley, we naturally enjoy a selection of the finest hand dyed wool in America! Several shops are located only a few minutes from the B&B.
"The Artist Along the Bitterroot" is a group of area artist ranging from painters, sculpters, fiber artist to furniture makers and photographers. Many of the members hold classes throughout the year and share their expertise with our guest! The AAB will be hosting it's annual Studio Tour and Sale June 5-7, 2015. You don't want to miss it; there will be 70+ studios open for meeting the artist and touring the studios.
